Mr. Howard Lee Robinson was born May 6, 1936 in Sandersville, GA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Elijah and Callie Robinson. He went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Howard Lee Robinson learned to work helping around the farm and changing tires at a gas station in Georgia. He came to Winston-Salem where he started working at Parrish Tire. Later he was hired at Sealtest where he worked for over 32 years. He was also employed by Mock Tire for 40 plus years. He always worked two jobs. He loved his family and he was truly a provider. Howard was truly a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him.

Howard was preceded in death by his angel daughter, Crystal Robinson; granddaughter, Ashley Vaughn; sisters, Della, Ida Mae, Anna, and Arveda; brothers, David and Freeman; and sons-in-law, Antonio Scales and James "Buck" Price.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife of 57 years Thelma G. Robinson; 7 loving daughters, Belinda (Andy) Robinson of South Carolina, Brenda (Calvin) Penn, Elaine Scales, Janet Price (Ronald Scales), Tyanna, LaToya, and Jessica Robinson; 3 sons, Howard (Aretha) Roberson of Georgia, Paul (Rosa) Gray, and Brian Robinson; 20 grandchildren, Shannon, Anthony, Jr., Ian, Tyler, Krystal, Toni, Carlton, Jr., Marchello, Adrian, Antonio, Jr., Markee, Tahijah, Javon, Jasmine, Josiah, Haeden, Jared, Howard, J'Kiyah, and Deztiny; 23 great grandchildren, Ayanna, Eric, Faizon, Nina, Aliya, Ava, Mehki, Kamaria, Cheyenne, Sean, Jamaila, Jaydien, Royalty, Anuli, Sekani, Zaniyah, Rihanna, Jamykel, Amina, Iijah, Bishop, Saria, and Ani; sister, Janie King of Tennile, GA; sisters-in-law, Shirley Gray, Helen Roberson, and Mary Jones; special cousins, Mack and Florine King; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He will be missed!

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Anthony Robinson officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
