On Tuesday, December 28, 2010 Mr. Howard McCullough departed this life. He was born October 21, 1928. He graduated from Atkins High School Class of 1947 and worked for CC Ross Painting and Decorating Company for 40 years.He was president of Atkins Alumni Class of 1947.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa McCullough; six daughters, Paris M. Bradsher, Irma M. Nelson, Francesca M. Asberry, Angela (John) Gooden, Bridgett (Anthony) Serino, and Gabrielle (Daryl) Smith; five sons, Howard R., Vincent G., Mark E. (Alethea), Craig D., and Brian S. McCullough; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral mass will be held at 12noon Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church with Father Larry Heiney officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A rosary visitation will be held at 5pm Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
