Mr. Horace Myers Little "Slim" was born March 26, 1953 to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Nan Little, Sr. He entered into the Father's arms March 6, 2011. He was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem NC and was a remarkable athlete. He was employed by the W-S Housing Authority as a professional painter and decorator. Mr. Little was a dedicated member of New Generation Praise and Worship International Ministries. He was a gentle, kind man and a loving husband.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Yvonne Timmons Little; his three daughters, Kerina F. Little, Ebony F. Little, and Jasmine F. Little; three grandchildren; two God-children; three sisters, Alander Hemphill, Astra (Manuel) Thomas, and Katie Little; three brothers, William (Faye) M. Little, Jr., Terry (Mila) Little, and Christopher Little; his best friend, Larry Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and caretakers.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
