Herbert Tyson, Jr., affectionately known as "Ba'", "Bruh'", or "Herb", was born on November 17, 1961 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Donzella Tyson and Herbert Tyson, Sr.  He passed away quietly on January 6, 2019.

He attended Parkland High School, and was formerly employed by Hanes Dye and Finishing Co.

"Herb" was a good guy at heart.  His love of art afforded him to be a fairly good amateur painter.  He was also an animal lover, and when you would visit him, you would always find at least one dog that he spoiled rotten.

Those surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Keona Tyson of the city and Charmaine Hunter of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Stephanie Tyson (Vivian) of the city; a brother, Gerry (Shannon) Tyson of the city; six grandchildren; and a loving host of relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 12noon Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
