Obituary
Henry Richard Sherrill, 63 was called home on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center after an extened period of illness.
He was born in Cleveland, NC on April 16, 1945 to James W. Blackmon and Beulah Mae James. He attended RA Clement School in Cleveland, NC and retired from Briggs and Schaffner as a Machine Operator.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Ivory "Spanky" James.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother; a soul mate of 36 years, Elizabeth Frazier; sons, Tyshun and Dana Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC, Issaac Frazier of Durham, NC; daughters, Mynika Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC, Sonya (James) Arnold of Mocksville, NC, and Tampra Frazier of Kernersville, NC; brothers, Marvin Sherrill of Winston-Salem, NC, Frank (Barbara) James of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Shirley Guess and Betty Lou Caldwell of Winston-Salem, NC; grandmother, Estelle Lucky of Cleveland, NC; an uncle, Pete Sherrill of Salisbury, NC; granddaughter, Jamiliah Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
