Mrs. Helen Vernell Johnson Lewis, 65, of Parkwood Ave. Winston-Salem, NC was born October 15, 1950. She departed this life July 16, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was married to Richard Lewis and has one son, Christian Lewis of the home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Samuel Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
