Obituary
Mrs. Hazel D. Thompson Reeves, 92, passed away at Forest Heights Assisted Living on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1924 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Hazel & Lula Thompson.
After high school she moved to Sacramento, CA and later to New York City where she became a nurse. She met her husband, Henry Reeves in New York. They later moved to Atlanta, GA where her husband passed. She then returned to Winston-Salem, NC where she became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her sister, Antoinette Pollard; two step-granddaughters, Lisa Peck of Atlanta, GA and Lacy Reeves of Vista, CA; five nieces, Constance (Vernoid) Campbell, Stephanie (Reginald) Kay, Valerie (Curtis) Canty, Margaret Epps, and Natasha Smith; four nephews, Eric Pollard, Cortez Pollard, Christopher Epps, and James Epps; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, March 10, 2017 in Evergreen Cemetery.
