Mr. Harold Nelson Hege, affectionately known as "Peter Rabbit", of 1032 Nancy Lane was born June 22, 1964 to the late Vendetta "Mickey" Hege and Harold Nelson Southerland and departed his life on November 2, 2023.

Harold lived in Winston-Salem all his life and is survived by his son, Piragio Thompson; two sisters, Tomica Hege and Michelle Southerland- Frazer; he also leaves behind devoted uncles, Levernal Southerland, Leroy Hunter and Ken Howell; three devoted aunts, Aletha Howell, Doretha Hunter, and Janifer Sotherland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Friday, November 17, 2023 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Leach officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Church.
