Harry Glenn Davis, Sr., affectionately known as "H. Glenn Davis", went home to be with his Heavenly Father on the morning of November 24, 2015. Harry was born to the late William and E. Virginia Davis in Stokes County, NC.

Mr. Davis was a graduate of the Atkins High School Class of 1954. Attorney H. Glenn Davis passionately served as a voice for the voiceless and a strong representative for the underclass for 52 years. He became an icon in the community and was the recipient of several awards and recognitions.

He leaves to carry on his legacy his wife, Geraldine Davis; his children, Kim Glennecia Davis-Gore, Harry Glenn Davis, Jr. (Deena), and William Walter Davis (Katrina); nine grandchildren, William "BJ" Moore, Akia and Alannah Gore, Breannah Davis-Bloom, Ciara Davis, Joshua and Jacquise McDonald, Harry Glenn Davis, III and Brandon Davis; one great-granddaughter, Armani Moore; three sisters, Betty Davis Brown, Brenda Davis Knox (Greg), and Karen 'Lisa' Davis Parker; two aunts, Rachel Penn and Catherine Foy; two nephews, Steven and Bryan Knox; a loyal friend and Secretary, Joyce Hairston; and a host of relatives and friends.

Homegoing services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2400 Dellabrook Rd. W-S, NC 27105 with Pastor Donald Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 2124 New Walkertown Rd. W-S, NC 27101. The family will receive visitors from 6:30pm until 8:00pm Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
