Early Sunday, August 12, 2007 the Lord Sent His Angels Down To Take His Servant Gwendolyn Patrice Hannah "Aunty," 68, of 212 Forest Hills Ave. on to her Heavenly Reward. She was the daughter of William Steele and Louise S. Hannah.

She was a woman who showed unconditional love and support to all those who paths she crossed and came into contact with. She was a member of St. Peter's World Outreach Center. She was a woman who believed Family was everything.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Steele and Louise S. Hannah and her son Victor Kim Hannah.

She leaves to carry on her legacy her children, two sons, Antonio (Yvonne) Hannah, Darryl Hannah, three daughters, Karen Hannah, Twana (Chris) Jordan, and Shannon Gardner a faithful companion Clearence Nealy; a sister, Anita L. Hannah-Barnes; two aunts, Frances (Hawthorne) Page and Beatrice Smith; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of adopted children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 18, 2007 at St. Peter's World Outreach Center with Bishop J.C. Hash officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am Saturday at the church.
