Obituary
Mrs. Gracie D. Jordan went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 69 years, Willard C. Jordan; two daughters, Sylvia (Dr. Kermit Simrel) of Washington, DC and Dr. Willardean Dula (Alan) of Winston-Salem, NC; a loving grandson, Dr. Kermit S. Muhammad and his three children, Khadir, Kenneth, and Miya Grace of Bourbonnais, IL; her older sister, Iola Risher; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gracie's Homegoing service will be held at 12noon Monday, December 1, 2014 at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Church. Burial will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
