Obituary

Gerita Miller Frazier was born on May 11, 1973 to Bruce Davis and the late Phyllis Miller. She was a member of Greater Hope of Glory Missionary Baptist Church. She later worshiped at Power of God in Christ Ministries. Gerita loved God and loved to fellowship and serve. Gerita worked at Arbor Ridge until her health wouldn't allow her to. She loved cooking for the residents and preparing meals for them. If anyone knew Gerita, they new she had a love for the kitchen and seeing how people enjoyed her meals.

Gerita was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Miller; three brothers, William Miller, James Miller and Tacoma Miller; one sister, Mahasin Miller McCray; and one nephew, William Miller Jr.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Reginald Frazier of the city. Gerita was the proud mother of seven children, Martia Miller, Demetrius Miller, Christopher Carpenter, Rekiyah Frazier, Reginald Frazier, Releahiya Frazier, Geriyah Frazier; step-children, Tierra Lewis, Terrell Lewis and Chloe Frazier. Gerita had a total of 22 amazing Grandchildren. She loved each and everyone of them. Gerita also leaves her father, Bruce Davis of Georgia. She also leaves behind a loving sister-in-law, Maude (Daryle) McLaughlin of Charlotte, NC. Gerita had three God-mothers, Helen Little, Valerie Joyner and Marie Williams. She also had one God sister, LaParrish Reid; dedicated friends, Monica Christian, Jerry Williams, Michelle Dalton, Shannon Clark, and MaCheri Blakes. She also leaves four devoted cousins, Joy Mack and Ken Mack, La-Keisha and Samika ORoper, and Linda Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. To know Gerita was to know a kind, loving and compassionate person. Full of life and always willing to help someone. She will truly be missed by all those she came in contact with. The world was brighter with her in it. Those that knew her will always remember her beautiful smile.
