Mr. Gerald W. Caldwell was born in Winston-Salem, NC on November 1, 1951. His fight was fearless, but he succumbed to cancer and God took his hand on November 8, 2011.
Gerald leaves behind his loving wife, Connie Bell Caldwell; daughter, Denesha Bell; beloved mother, Eddie Hall; one brother, Reginald Caldwell; five sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Gordon, Cynthia (Win) Caldwell Hodges, Janice Caldwell, Nola Caldwell, and Mae Katherine Caldwell; a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A Homegoing Service celebrating Gerald's life will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 12, 2011 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1212 Dunleith Avenue W-S, NC with Rev. Dr. Samuel J. Cornelius officiating. All are invited to join the family at Evergreen Cemetery which will be his final resting place. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church.
