Obituary
Georgia Savannah Oaks was born September 26, 1920 in Rural Hall, NC and passed peacefully on April 15, 2015 at Trinity Glen nursing home.
During her years of employment she served in the homes of Bill and Ida May Wilson, John and Liz Brady, Ben and Barbara Phillips.
In addition to her parents, Julius and Mary Conrad Oaks, she was preceded in death by two sons, David Leroy and William Norwood Oakes.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Deborah) Oakes; 12 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives all left to cherish precious memories of her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
