George Wise Wilson was born on June 14, 1963 in Reidsville, North Carolina to the late Harvey Wilson and the late Janie Mae Poole. George passed away peacefully in his home after a long illness.
Surviving are his wife Tandra Wilson; four sons, Denard Williams, Dante Wilson, Ronnie Key and Jamar Connor; four daughters, Latisha Pate, Shanice Simpson, LaToya Key, and Patrisha Key; and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are six brothers; Charles Thaxton, Willie Poole, Willie Wilson, Harvey Slade (Tara), Harvey Smith, and Rashaun Robinson; ten sisters, Judy Poole, Robin Turner, Nookie Poole, Linda Finch (Jessie), Jackie Williamson, Beverly Chandler, Jennie Flemmings, Joan Courts, Tiki Floyd (Brian), Betty Galloway (Otis); four sisters-in-law, Barbara White (Joseph),Veronica McEivey (Eric),Ayanna McCullum, and Brenda Barbour (Raymond);four brothers-in-law, Demond Key (Yukema), Shabono Key, Bobby Buncombe, Reginald Bohannon (Ilene), and devoted aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lester Boyd officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Tuesday at the Church.
