Mr. George Frank Moore of 2620 Rosemary Dr. passed away Sunday morning February 24, 2008 at the Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Chester County, S.C. on September 27, 1912 to Jim frank and Liza Moore.

Mr. Moore was a resident of Winston-Salem for approximately 63 years. He retired from R.J. Reynolds in 1977 after 30 years of dedicated service. A member of Dreamland Park Baptist Church where he was the Deacon for many years and Superintendent of the Sunday school for several years. Mr. Moore retired from Ardmore Methodist Church where he was custodian for 40 years.

Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved granddaughter, Lashawnda Morrison.

He is survived by his beautiful devoted wife of 65 years Mrs. Inell Blake Moore; two sons, William Frank (Pat) Moore of Charlotte, NC and James Blake of Mt. Morris, Mich.; three daughters, Annie Mae (Joe) Crockett of Flint, Mich., Wilhelmena (George) Friday of Vallejo, Cal., Marie (Lynn) Bitting of Winston-Salem, NC; 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Rose Taylor of Rock Hill, SC; a daughter,-in-law, Joanne Blake of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at will be held at 1pm Friday, February 29, 2008 at Dreamland Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Fisher, officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial gardens. Family visitation will beheld from 12 Noon until 1pm Friday at the church.
