Mr. George Bernard Meredith, 52, was born on January 3, 1972 in Winston Salem, NC to the late Blanche Meredith and George Bernard Brim. The Lord called him home on Monday, March 4, 2024.

George was known for his laughter, joking, and being a protector to his family and friends, especially his daughters and grandchildren. He was the life of the party. There wasn't a cookout or family gathering that he did not attend and grace us with a bounce or a two- step, with his drink in one hand and his toothpick in his mouth! George was the big cousin to most. When he babysat, he always made his specialty, hamburgers and french-fries with Lou homemade tea! He was the only person that could season and cook that hamburger and french-fries like no one else. (LOL)

To know George, you knew he didn't play about Louise Meredith, also known as his Lou! They were best friends, they were inseparable.  Though George has gone home to Glory, he will be truly missed and always remembered, and we All got Lou!

He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Brim.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters,  Janae Brabham and Iyanna Jones; two grandchildren, J'Nila Elder and Raelynn Jones; grandmother, Louise Meredith; two sisters, Cheryl Wright and Veronika Brim; three brothers, Shawn Brim, Carl Brim, and Lee A. Brim; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Monday at the Chapel.
