Frederick Davon Kluttz departed this life September 21, 2013. Born in Albemarle NC on August 8, 1961, this faithful Man loved God, was a loving Husband, Father, Family Man and Friend to many.
"Brother Fred" was a master builder and a jack of all trades. God saw fit to call this mighty Man of Valor home at the precious age of 52. Fred was an employee of Old Castle, formally known as Cemex.
"Brother Fred" was preceded in death by his son, SGT Montá Shévaux Ruth (U. S. Army) (Aylin).
Left to Cherish his memories are his wife, Barbara D. Kluttz; children, Nakeia Ruth, Aontá Ruth, Everette Ruth (Secil), Candace Kluttz, Akia Grayson (Michael), Darren Ruth, and Aontá Ruth Jr.; a host of grandchildren; parents, Bobby and Peggy Kluttz; brother, Samuel Kluttz (Janice); sisters, Leslie Murphy, Mia Kluttz, and Jeannie Little (Bruce); sister-in-law, Carolyn Tuttle; brother-in-law, William D. Ruth; special niece-in-law, Michelle Ruth; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and a best friend whom was more like a brother, Alan Forrest.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday September 28, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel, 822 Carl Russell Ave. W-S, NC with Reverend Edward L. Taylor, Associate Pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
