Mr. Fred Turner, Jr. of Carver School Road was born December 10, 1935 to Fred Turner, Sr. and Lillie M. Turner. He departed this earthly life March 25, 2014.

Fred was employed with the City of W-S and Budd Services where he retired. He was a loving, caring, free hearted, family oriented, silly, but most importantly a man of GOD who knew the word and taught the word to his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cornell S. Turner; and his sister, Mae Turner Martin.

Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, Debra Faye Turner and Lillian Renee Turner; five grandchildren, LaShander, Roger, Princess, Fred, and Jackie; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers and 3 sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance with Bishop Claude Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Open Door Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
