Franklin Renard Braddy (Cain) was born August 13, 1967 in Winston Salem, NC to Franklin Cain and the late Sharon Braddy Cain. He transitioned from this life's mission at 7:58AM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Hospital where he was surrounded by family.
In his early years, he lived with his grandparents, the late Ervin Julius Cain and Annie Mae Cain. He attended Kimberly Park Holiness Church where he was a member of the Sunday School, Youth Choir and the Mass Choir. Frank graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School and joined the United States Navy. He reached the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class and worked in the Engineering Department. He sailed all around the world in his 4 year tour of duty. After his time with the Navy, Frank held positions at jobs such as Royal Cake Co., Thomasville Furniture and B & G Foods.
As a sports enthusiast, he loved UNC-Tarheels Basketball and the Dallas Cowboys. "Little Frank", as we affectionately called him, had a great love for visiting Las Vegas, NV. He loved to have fun and enjoyed frequent visits from his cousins at his home. He was always telling jokes and kept everyone laughing.
His pride and joy were his 2 daughters, Chamel Davis and Lauryn Braddy. Frank loved his children and provided for them.
In addition to his mother and paternal grandparents, Frank was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosanna Braddy and Clarence Braddy.
Left to cherish his memory and reflect on his legacy are his daughters, Chamel Davis and Lauryn Braddy of Clinton, NC; his father, Franklin Cain; siblings, Kenneth Braddy, Delta Cain, Dana Cain of Raleigh, NC and Quinshanta Spease; aunts, Shelia Caldwell, Marilyn Dunlap (Carl), Patricia Spann (Cedric), aunt/mom, Vickie Newmones (Andre), and aunt/sister, Gwendolyn Glenn; uncles, Clarence Braddy Jr., Carnell Braddy, Larry Cain, and Ervin Cain of Sunnyvale, CA; bonus mom, Linda Cain; nieces, Chrethia Moore, Lakia Moore, and Dakota Cain-Fulks; nephew, Themus Fulks; lasting friends, Michael James, Bernell Martin & Family, Charlina Davis & Family, and Brielle Mitchell & Family. Frank will also be missed by a host of cousins, family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, May 26, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Kimberly Park Holiness Church with Elder Carl Dunlap officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Church.
