Mr. Frank Coleman, Jr. of 751 West 26th Street was called from labor to great reward on Friday, April 29, 2011. He was born April 13, 1935 in Gaffney, SC to the late Frank and Queenie Coleman, Sr. In 1967 he was united in holy matrimony to Annie Fowler who preceded him in death in 1996. He was a retired employee of RJ Reynolds where he worked 30 years.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosa Mae Fernanders.
He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Faye Coleman of Kernersville, NC and Rodney (Louise) Lash of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Medford Leon Coleman of Winston-Salem, NC and Willie (Priscilla) Coleman of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Goler Memorial AME Church. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
