Mr. Frank Junior Boggan entered this life on May 7, 1949 in Stanley County, son of Ray Boggan and Louise Redfearn-Boggan. He went on his journey to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He fought a long and hard fight but never gave up his faith.
He accepted Christ at an early age, as a member of Flakes Chapel Ansonville, NC. He became a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, W-S, NC. He attended Ansonville High School class of 1967; he also furthered his education at Forsyth Technical Community College. Frank was employed with Caldwell Bankers Robert Ellis of W-S, NC for 26 years. Frank recently started volunteering services for Meals on Wheels. Frank was an extraordinary man. He held the role of a loyal, devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and best friend too many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Boggan and Louise Redfearn-Boggan; son, DeCarlos Boggan; and brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his devoted wife of 40 years, Vera G. Boggan; children, very special daughter, Yolanda Jayne' Boggan Gullette and daughter, Melissa Sellars(Harlie); son, Donald Gaddy (Sylvia); grandchildren, Kiara Johnson, Maurice Gaddy, De'Shun Boston, Lakita Hardison, Tiara Hardison, Adrianna Gullette and Jon Gullette; a special "Mom", Mrs. Betty Bailey & Family of Statesville, NC; two sisters and two brothers; sisters and brothers in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Frank Junior Boggan will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him. Gone but never forgotten……..he was a God fearing man.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1301 CE Gray Drive W-S, NC 27101 with Reverend Dr. Charles E. Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens, 3663 Piedmont Memorial Drive W-S, NC 27107. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Saturday at the Church.
