Francina Covington, 74 passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010. She was born November 22, 1936 in Union, SC to Buddy Farr and Kathleen Farr Porter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two children, Pamela Covington and Michael Covington; five grandchildren, Davonta, Michael, Jr., April, Miracle, and Josh Covington; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jessie Dobson Draft and Patricia Porter Jack (Vince) of Fort Washington, MD; a dedicated former husband, Pleas Covington; special friend, Ella Self; caregiver, Felicia Moore; and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Monday at the funeral home.
