Frances Marie Ziglar was born January 15, 1940 in Mt. Airy, NC, to the late George and Lonnie Sawyers Green. She graduated from J.J. Jones High School and was employed in various industries before retiring as a homemaker.  As a devoted member of Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years, Frances served faithfully on the Adult Usher Board until her health declined.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Ziglar.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children, James (Linda), Marie (Eugene), Steve (Donna), and Michael; her grandchildren, Artrese, Jaymea (Matt), Michael, Taequan, Khadijah, Ashley, Arick (Georgie), and Candice; her great-grandchildren, AJ, Aiden, and Roman, who were the pride and joy of her life; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, February 27, 2026 at Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Chad R. Armstrong officiating.  Interment services will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Friday at the church.
