Frances Irene Dearmon was born in Dobson, North Carolina to the late William Dearmon and Louise Dearmon on October 2, 1946. Frances received her wings at Trellis on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Frances worked for Thomasville Furniture for over 18 years before retiring. She was dedicated to serving God which she showed through several years as an Usher board Member and Kitchen Committee member at Freedom Tabernacle. She was a phenomenal mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. Frances loved shopping, gardening, going to the YMCA, and spending time with her family.

She will be greeted in Heaven by her son, Derrick Dearmon; parents, William and Louise Dearmon; sister, Glenda Hill; brothers, Lester "RB" Dearmon, Robert Dearmon, and James Dearmon.

Frances is survived by her children, Kelvin (Samantha) Dearmon, Roderick (Nichole) Dearmon, and Lisa (Michael) Winston; brother, William Kenny Dearmon; sisters, Diane Dearmon, Vergie Hawkins, and Peggy Dearmon; sister-in-law, Carolyn Dearmon; grandchildren, Charles Dearmon, Donetria Dearmon, Ashley Hicks, Kierra Dearmon, Derrick Dearmon, Jade Dearmon, Shana Dearmon and Jacobe Wright; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, November 1, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021.  Interment will follow in the Hairston Family Cemetery, Walnut Cove, NC.
