Mr. Floyd Lorenzo Moore of 2004 Bloomfield Dr was born January 14, 1944 in Winston-Salem, NC to Curtis Watkins and Ruth Roebuck Moore. God answered the cry of his faithful servant and dispatched his Heavenly angels to bring him home on the evening of June 4, 2010 at 3:35pm.
He was a Baptist by faith and understood the foundation of our Savior; Peace, Love and Hope. Mr. Moore retired from RJ Reynolds after serving 40 plus years. He was also an active member of the Top Ten Social Club and he had a love for golfing, hunting, and bowling.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was predeceased by two sisters, Brenda V. Hood and Betty Jade Webster.
Cherishing beautiful memories are his wife, Wilma Ann Moore; three sons, Saladeen Fsadi El "Teddy" and wife Ruth Sadi El, Hulin Garrett "Bunny", a loving daughter-in-law, Justina Garrett, and Kevin White "Pie"; one faithful daughter, Lita A. White; a devoted sister, Phyllis M. Faye and husband, Walter L. Faye; three brothers, Clarence C. Moore and wife, Lee Hilda, Raymond Moore, Raynard Moore and wife, Patricia all of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Demika Minor, Hulin Garrett, Jr., and Brittani White; three great-grandchildren; a devoted uncle, Freeman and wife, Doris Roebuck; a loving aunt, Elizabeth; and a host of other relatives and special friends including, Patricia Simmons; a close cousin, Bishop William Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, June 12, 2010 at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
