Florence "Flo" LaVerne Gilliam Livingston was born at 3:13 am June 22, 1950. She departed this life April 24, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center after a gradual decline in health.
Flo was educated in the Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools, graduating from John W. Paisley High School in 1968. She held many positions at various companies throughout the Triad before retiring from the City of Winston Salem in 2011. She was also the proud owner of FLO2.
Her gift to the world was love. She was goodness, mercy, compassion and understanding, peace, joy and light. Flo shared the deepest wisdom and highest truth; the greatest peace and the grandest love. She was those things; for words are thoughts and thoughts are things.
