Floreatha Williams Cooper, retired Trans-Aide employee and resident of Winston Salem NC, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2020 at 5:57am at the age of 78. She was born January 22, 1942 to Charles Williams and Caroline White Williams.

Floreatha is survived by her children; Charles Winston Cooper, Jessie James Cooper Jr.; step-daughter, Debra Cooper Phifer; her sisters, Hattie Dora Margert Williams Jones and Gloria Mae Williams Gatling; her grandchildren, Shrese Monique Cooper, Jessica Caprice Cooper Griffin, Jesse James Cooper III, Jabari Maurice Cooper, and Tasia Little; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Jesse James Cooper Sr; her mother, Caroline Sally Leola White Williams; her father, Charles Williams; her sister, Willer Mae Elizabeth Williams Johnson.

Private funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2020.
