Obituary

Mrs. Fannie Mae Fleming Koger, 65, went home to be with the Lord on June 20, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born October 7, 1949 in W-S, NC to Robert Lee Fleming and Virginia Luckey-Taylor.

She was a faithful member of Ministries of Truth Apostolic Church having served in several capacities including the missionary and usher boards under the leadership of Bishop William E. Koger. She served faithfully until her health began to fail. She was employed at Forsyth Medical Center for 18 years as a certified phlebotomist in addition to working 12 years at Wake Forest Baptist Health before her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 30 years and her caregiver for the last 10 years, Theodore "Bo" Koger; 2 daughters, Necole Fleming-Pulley and Tanya Fleming; son, Jerry Fleming; 3 step-children, Larian (Debrah) Koger, Veldon Koger, and Lisa Koger; grandchildren, Joe Fleming, Xavier Ross, Veldon D. Ray, and Sheree' Koger; great-grandchild, De'Mari Koger; a host of numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia "Geneva" (James) Bryant; brother, Walter Fleming; spiritual daughter, Martha Edwards; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Ministries of Truth Apostolic Church, 145 Alice St. W-S, NC 27105 with Bishop William E. Koger officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Wednesday at the Church.
