Mrs. Fannie Lee Jenkins was born on November 2, 1959 to Ruby Wilds and James Horne in Winston-Salem, NC. She peacefully ascended to heaven on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 whilst surrounded by close loved ones.

Fannie graduated from East Forsyth High School, class of 1978 and received her associate's degree from Forsyth Technical Community College. She was a Baptist by faith and a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Fannie Lee was a woman of many talents. Her interests and gifts lead her to become a Jewelry and Handbag Designer/Maker, Fashion Show Producer, Motivational Speaker, Gospel Songwriter, and Christian Poet.  She shared her gifts of songwriting and poetry through ministry at various churches and events. She was known for making bold and beautiful fashion statements by wearing customized clothing and jewelry pieces. Her passion for fashion molded her individuality and fostered an unmatched uniqueness that blessed all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 31 years, Lawaskia Jenkins; son, Montay Wilds; daughter, Brittiany Jenkins; 8 grandchildren; 5 siblings; and a host of family and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. James Linville officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30am on Saturday at the Church.
