Obituary
Mr. Fairley Leak, 79, formerly of 3455 Valley Road, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Springwood Care Center.
Mr. Leak retired from Aramark Food Service and Goodwill Industries in Winston-Salem. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a faithful and active member of the Carver Road Christian Church until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Patricia Jackson of Charlotte, NC; three sons, Gregory Leake and Tyrone Leak of Jersey City, NJ, and Wilbert Leak (Tara) of Laurinburg, NC; a brother, James A. Leak of Laurinburg, NC; two sisters, Annie B. McClennahan of Laurinburg, NC and Ophelia Rhodes of Baltimore, MD; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Carver Road Christian Church with Minister Roy Blake officiating and Pastor Clyde Lindsay as the eulogist. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held from 10 am until 11 am Saturday at the church.
