Minister Ezyette Nicole McLaurin, affectionately known as "Nicci", was born December 9, 1972 and departed this life on April 11, 2015.

A native of Winston-Salem, NC she was a graduate of East Forsyth High School class of 1991, achieved her associate's degree in early childhood development from Forsyth Technical Community College, and her bachelor's degree from Winston-Salem State University. Nicci served as an associate minister at Solely for Christ Ministries. She was a devoted mother, loving family member, and friend to many.

She is survived by her children, Ti'an and Tristan McLaurin; the beloved family dog, Genesis "Gen Gen"; her parents, Hazel and Beatrice McLaurin; sisters, Sharon Wiley (William) and Patricia Fleming; brother, Reginald McLaurin (Brenda) of Richmond, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, April 17, 2015 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Edward L. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
