Ms. Evelyn Dianne Dunlap affectionately known as "EL" of 3446 Milton Drive Winston Salem, NC was born to Richard Roberts and Rosa Dunlap on December 16, 1946 and entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

She was educated within Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools. She retired from A Cleaner World after several years of service.

Having the loving, caring and nurturing spirit, she was a mother in her church as well served as President of the Usher Board Ministry of Power of God in Christ Ministries. The love she had was shared with everyone and everything she would come in contact with. Ms. Dunlap devoted her earthly time serving God. She was introduced to her faith at Shiloh Baptist Church where she served decades as a part of the usher board. She would frequent the local Bingo's where she enjoyed great laughs with her friends within the community. Her love was pure and she left a positive imprint in her family and community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Selven Roberts; and sister, Doris Dunlap-Bines.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her children Denita Dunlap of Winston Salem, NC, Lisa Dunlap of Winston Salem, NC, Alverna (Lester) Howard of Winston Salem, NC, Yolanda (Wayne) Couser of Winston Salem, NC, and Pastor Renae (Sidney) Dunlap Miller of Kernersville, NC. Her mini heartbeats grandchildren, Demika Douglas, Rekus (Taneshia) Dunlap, Ebony Dunlap, Timothy Dunlap, Porsha (William) Whisonant Banks, Antonio (Nicole) Dunlap, Tanesha Whisonant, Quentella Dunlap, Tyrone Dunlap, Dedric Crump, Jr., Phelicia (Clarence) Prendergast, Malicia Whisonant and Shekaniah Gaither; her four siblings, one brother, Richard Roberts and three sisters, Reverend Marylin Little, Lola West and Alice Roberts-Jackson of the city; Fifty-five great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren all of the city; a host of nieces and nephews; one devoted cousin, Ada Scales of the city; and devoted friends, Barbara Shuler Pouncey and Deanna Sturdivant.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Power of God in Christ Ministries, 414 Mason Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Wednesday at the Church.
