On September 5, 2010 The Angels came to escort Eva Little Hillian (our mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend.) home to be with the Lord. She was born in Chesterfield, SC on June 6, 1913 to the late Albert & Isabel Little.
During her life she was an employee of the WS/FC Schools as a Cook. She loved quilting, cooking, fishing and watching wrestling. She was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church Choir, Community Flower, and Russell Center Exercise Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James Robert Hillian; a sister, Catherine Ashe; a brother Roscoe Little; two daughters, Eva Wilson and Carolyn Crutchfield; and son-in law James Crutchfield. She leaves to cherish five children, James Hillian Jr. (Vera), Viola H. Werts, Calvin Hillian Sr. (Nancy), Clifton Hillian Sr. (Constance) Atlanta, GA, and Evangelist Annie H. Campbell; and one sister, Albertha Little, all of Winston Salem, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Union Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the church.
