Eula Jane Wilson peacefully entered her eternal rest, Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Winston Salem, NC at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 5, 1928 in Enfield, NC to the late Ernest and Carrie Boney. She attended public school in her hometown of Enfield. In 1944 she moved to Virginia and November 1956 she married Fred Wilson.

A faithful church Mother, she was a former member of The Tabernacle of God's Holiness Church and Kings James Temple and a current member of Harvest Church of Hampton. She served in many ministries throughout the church, always available to serve whenever she was needed. Understanding the power of prayer and service Mother Eula was a member of the "Prayer Band." She drove the church van assisting members and those of the community to and from worship. Always searching for a way to help, Mother Eula sold chips, peanuts, pickles and sodas after service with all proceeds going towards the church building fund. For several years, she did domestic work, and later retired from Columbia Rope factory in Newport News, VA.

Mother Eula was preceded in death by her siblings, Gladys Williams (formerly Boney), Freddie, Clarence, Rice and Jack Boney.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Fred Wilson; daughter, Violet Taylor; son, Antjuan Wilson; grandchildren, Eula Gordon (James), Theodore Taylor (Valarie), Andrew Blizzard (Sharon) , Antonio Tucker, and the Shaw sisters; five great-grandchildren, Nakita McGee, Dishon Taylor, Eboni Williams (Terry), Devin Yates, and Aliya Tucker; a great-great-granddaughter, Jaden Taylor; her only cousin, Walter Taylor (Dorothy); a great-nephew, Sylvester Pope (Cheryl); a great-niece, Angelia Peyton; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Timmy L. Lucky officiating.  Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
