"Well Done, Thy Good and Faithful Servant" Our beloved mother and sister, Mrs. Ethel G. Ray, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was born to Matthew and Jeannie Mae Grant. She was raised by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Willie Mae Carthron. She was preceded in death by one precious, loving, and devoted son, Emmanuel L. Alexander. She retired from Forsyth Medical center and was a faithful and devoted member of St. Peters World Outreach Center. She leaves to cherish her memory: one sister, Jean Edwards; three daughters, Edna Jordan (Ronald), Cynthia Mickle (Moultrie), and Andrea Grant; one son, Paul C. Alexander, Jr. (Wanda); two honorary sons, Gregory Johnson and Eric Jenkins; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Celebration Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at St. Peters World Outreach Center with the honorary Dr. James C. Hash officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation and viewing will be held from 1:30 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church.
