Obituary
Esther Lawson Watts, a former resident of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2007 in Maryland. She was born in Summerton, SC on July 3, 1916.
Esther was cared for by her nieces, Angela Brown and Early Mae Brown at their in-home assisted living center, Browns Assisted Living Services.
She previously live a wholesome life in California before her illness, where she shared and whom will mourn her wonderful and loving memories her only son, Willie "King" Lawson. Also mourning her loss will be her only surviving sister, Evangelist Mary A. Lawson Vincent of Winston-Salem, NC; along with a host of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Monday, December 4, 2007 from the Alpha & Omega Church of Faith, 1800 E. 16th Street, Winston-Salem, NC with Bishop John W. Huntley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until Noon on Monday at the Church.
The funeral procession will assemble and depart from the home of her sister, Mary Vincent at 1021 Brookline Street, Winston-Salem, NC.
