Mr. Eric A. Adams, 52, a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina was born to the late Brenda and Thomas Adams on May 8, 1971. He passed unexpectedly on December 25, 2023.

Often called "E Man" by close friends and relatives, he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. And you couldn't tell him anything about his Cowboys.

He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and graduated from Carver High School. Eric worked at Atrium Windows & Doors - Cornerstone Building Brands for over 15+ years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frederick S. Leak; uncle, Charlie Grafton, Jr.; and 2 great-aunts, Vernie Tucker and Minnie Polite.

He leaves to cherish his memory a wonderful and supportive girlfriend, Chicquita "Cookie" Hall; niece, Jazmine Robinson-Leake; 5 aunts, Carolyn Johnson, Charlesetta "Gail" Jennings, Linda Weathers, Madeline Adams, and Ethel Green; 4 uncles, Michael Buston, Bernard Richardson, Joe Grafton, and Alfred (Lectrice) Adams; 1 great-aunt, Annie Mason; 3 great-uncles, Robert Leak, James (Barbara) Leak, and Gwathney Leak; one bonus brother, Khalid (Mia) McGee, Sr.; bonus niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Khalid McGee, Jr.; and a plethora of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Church.
