Mrs. Emogene Cobb-Watkins, 67, was born February 6, 1951 to the late Fred Cobb and Emma Bell Mattison Cobb. She departed this life peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center on July 24, 2018.

Emogene was a graduate of Parkland High School and attended North Carolina A&T State University. She spent her professional career as a Flight Attendant with US Airways and retired after more than thirty years of service.

Emogene is survived by her husband, Calvin Watkins; her daughter, Keya Alston; stepchildren, Tonya Crump (Reggie), Sam Watkins (Lenore), and Andrea Bryant (Richard); and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, July 28, 2018 at First Waughtown Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the Watkins Family Cemetery, Walkertown, NC.  The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
