Emma Beatrice Campbell, affectionately known as "Bea", departed from this life and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at her home. She was born the oldest of six children, (Clarence Pitts, Jimmie Lee Pitts, twins Elbert and Albert, and Hattie Mayberry) to Eugene and Emma Dee Pitts on March 4 1928.

Bea attended Atkins High School. She met and married Theodore Campbell on July 4, 1952. They were married for 44 years when on August 10, 1996 on Saturday night the Lord called him home. Bea was a kind-hearted, fun-loving woman whose warm smile and personality endeared her to friends and neighbors.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her husband.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted son Calvin; daughter-in-law, Freda; grandson, Christopher; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Carl Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
