Mrs. Elouise Davis Cameron was born in Darlington, South Carolina on March 31, 1931. She was the eighth child born to Ceaser and Carrie Davis Wingate. The angles received her on May 11, 2015.
She was a domestic worker, a loving mother to her eight children, and a loving wife. She was a member of Macedonia Worship Center until her health began to fail.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Nathan Wingate, Almeda Wingate Scrivens, Lucius Wingate, Juanita Wingate McRaven, Bernetha Wingate Sansbury, and Albuertus Wingate; one son, Artur Brooks Wingate; one daughter, Faye Alice Wingate; one granddaughter, April Renee Wingate; and her husband of 45 years, John Cameron.

Elouise is survived by her two daughters, Frances Blue and Tangla Lee (Donald); four sons, Robert Wingate, Alfred Wingate, Micheal Wingate, and John Cameron, Jr.; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Macedonia Worship Center with Apostle SD Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30am on Wednesday at the Church.
