Mrs. Elouise Daily Byrom quietly departed this life on December 22, 2017 at her residence in the care of her family. She retired from Harris Teeter Grocery at the Whitaker Square Shopping Center in Winston-Salem NC in 2016. She enjoyed the opportunity this gave her to interact with a wide and diverse group of people, as well as her co-workers. She never met a stranger and she looked forward to contacts with patrons and their conversations.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Charlie Byrom, Sr.; five children, Mr. Charlie "Chuck" Byrom, Jr. (Priscilla) of W-S, NC, Mr. Robert N. Byrom (Cheryl) and  Mr. Andre B. Byrom both of New Brunswick, NJ, and Mr. Eugene J. Byrom (Cynthia) and Mr. Brian A. Byrom both of W-S, NC; her devoted grandchildren who she both cherished and adored, Hassan, Raheem, Kareem, Allen, Tanika, Omarr, Llord, Dont'e, Ciani, Marquis, and Jamal; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Dolores Harris (Terry) of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Maggie Crawford (Dell) of Clarksdale, MS, and Dr. Linda Johnson of Fort Valley, GA; four brothers, Mr. Morris Daily Jr. (Juanita) of Jonesboro, GA, Mr. Bennie (Martha) Daily of Brentwood, TN,  Mr. Joseph Daily of Fort Valley, GA, and Mr. John (Linda) Daily of Dacula, GA; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Willie Mae Tresvant of Brunswick, GA, Mrs. Essie Jackson of Hampton, GA, and Ms. Marne Williams of Vienna, GA; four brothers-in-law, Eugene James Byrom, Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI, Robert Byrom of Tallahassee, FL, James Davis Byrom, Sr. of Vienna, GA,  and Mr. Johnny Hardrick of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of loved and cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Greater Church, 5095 Lansing Dr. W-S, NC 27105.
