Elliott Robinson was born April 2, 1964 in Smithfield, NC to Vera M. Robinson. He departed his life unexpectedly in his home in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on May 10, 2022.

Mr. Robinson was raised and attended school in Forsyth County, North Carolina. At the age of 19, he enlisted into the US Army where he served from 1983 to 1990 when he medically retired. He then attended High Point University where he graduated with a BS in Accounting. After graduating he was employed by the Department of the Navy in Washington, DC as an Auditor from 2000 to 2008. He went on to purchase a Liberty Tax Franchise where he was Owner and Operator from 2008 to 2019.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert Robinson, Sr. and Louise Robinson.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Vera Robinson; three sisters, Gail Robinson (Warren), Jennifer Hazel (Anthony)  and Tracy Robinson all of Winston-Salem, NC; nieces and nephews, LaTasha Baydar (Can), Phillip Mitchell, III, Erica Hazel, Courtney Robinson, George Joyce, Terrell and A'Maya Savage; great niece, Myckenzie Hazel; and great nephew, Mason Hazel.

Viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Thursday at the Chapel.

Interment will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 27, 2022 in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
