Obituary
Mrs. Ellen Louise Wright Upson departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. She was born July 1, 1926 in New Orleans, LA to Preston and Arlena Joseph.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Upson was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Upson.
She leaves to cherish her memory 9 children, Milton (Angela) Wright, Neal Bernard Upson, Gloria Ann Upson, Syvan Upson, Fedrecia (Artis) Crump, Alphonse (Mary Ann) Upson, Anita Ford, Bernadine Upson, and Bernadette Upson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel, 822 Carl Russell Ave. W-S, NC. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Friday at the Chapel.
