Mrs. Elizabeth Hill Foster, 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born to the late Charles Sr. and Ollie Bell Hill on May 29, 1948 in Lexington, NC. She recently retired from HanesBrands, Inc. after 26 years of service. She was a member of Goler Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church where she was a Class Leader, and a member of the Goler Mass Choir.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her devoted husband of 46 years John R. Foster of the home; five children, Michael Foster (DeeDee) of the city, Jeffrey Foster (Della) of Chesapeake, VA, John A. Foster (Robin) of Morganton, NC, Pamela Boston of the city, and Lawrence Foster of Pensacola, FL; 2 sisters, Joanne Davis of Brooklyn, NY and Glenda Simpson of Lexington, NC ; one brother Charles Hill, Jr. of Lexington, NC; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Goler Memorial AME Zion Church with Rev. Dr. George C. Banks officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Tuesday at the church.
