Mrs. Eleanor Valeria Ford, 74, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina departed this life at home on July 15, 2020.

Born March 1, 1946 in Winston-Salem, NC, she was the daughter of Stacie Norman Wilson and Mary Gladys Barton Wilson.

She graduated from Paisley High School. Eleanor retired from RJ Reynolds where she worked as a handler. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby in her early years and created many beautiful outfits.

Eleanor was a member of St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her father, Stacie Norman Wilson; her mother, Mary Gladys Barton Wilson; daughter, Lisa Denise Ford; her sisters, Marietta and Alma Ruth; brother, Norman Leander Wilson; and her granddaughter, Valeria Lee.

Eleanor leaves to cherish her memories her son, Arthur Lee Ford, Jr. (Barbara); her granddaughters, Olivia Nicole Green and Alyssa Marie Ford; her sisters, Janet Dolores Wilson and Sharon Michelle Wilson; her nephew, Stephon, Sr.; her niece, Memoree; and many extended relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
