Mr. Edward Hopkins, 83, passed away December 10, 2012. He was born March 29, 1929 in San Diego, CA.
He was a r
etiree of the US Air Force having served 20 years and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eleanor King Hopkins; two brothers, Louis and Eugene; and one sister, Evelyn.
Edward is survived by his son, Steven (Melinda) Hopkins; five grandchildren, Jamal, Maurice, Tierra, Joshua, and Paris; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
