Mr. Edward Lee "Chicken" Graham, 59, of 311 Clayton Street , Winston-Salem , NC made a transition to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center . He was born on March 23, 1948 and was the first of seven children to Miles M. and Ella M. Graham. He joined St. John Christian Methodist Episcopal Church at an early age. A graduate of Paisley High School , he retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters and three sons of Winston-Salem , NC ; four sisters, Shirley O. (Albert) Anderson of Asheville, NC, Mary Graham, Constance Graham and Vanessa (Anthony) Campbell all of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Samuel (Janice) Graham of Augusta, GA and Gaston (Ilda) Graham of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren; a devoted first cousin, Carolyn Hampton; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were all special and dear to him.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, July 9, 2007 from the St. John CME Church , 350 NW Crawford Place , Winston-Salem , NC with Pastor Moses V. Goldmon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery . The family visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1pm on Monday at the Church.
