Edmund Lewis Jones, 42 departed this life Tuesday, November 17, 2009 after a brief illness.
He attended Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was employed by Jam Pac, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Martha E. Jones; and his grandfather, George W. Jones, II.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife, April B. Jones; seven children, Edmund Newman, Terrell, Domanique, April, Tamara, and Imani Jones, and Denita Wade; two step-children, Demetrius and Barbara Banks; his loving mother, Mary J. Noble; his father, Robert Harrington; brother, James Smith; sister, Anjonette (Robert) Wade; two aunts, Rosetta Foster and Hazel (Claude) Moore; uncles, George (Cindy) Jones and Ronald Jones; a host of in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 21, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jyson Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
