Mrs. Edith Chaskley, 76, loving mother, grand and great-grandmother was born January 14, 1937. She departed this earthly life on March 3, 2013.

She was a devoted and good member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where she served on the Greeter Committee, Pastor's Aid, and Usher Board.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Williams; two sons, James and Charles Williams; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maudisteen (Larry) Harvey, Dorothy Fisher, and Marcelean Webb; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, March 8, 2013 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. C.E. Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
